Holiday Calm on Stock Exchange

Ljubljana, 3 January - The holidays marked the happening on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange as the stock market was open only on Monday and Tuesday. Still, the turnover came up to SIT 3.16bn (EUR 13.3m), half of which was made in 16 block trades. The benchmark SBI 20 index finished at 3,931.64 points, up 0.03% over the last trading day of the previous week, 24 December 2003. In the whole year, the SBI 20 gained 591.44 points (17.71%).
