Federal Executive Council prepared to continue talks on solving the crisis in Yugoslavia

Ljubljana, 6 August - The Information Service of the Federal Executive Council has reported that the Federal Executive Council is prepared to continue talks on solving the crisis in Yugoslavia and to search for a possible solution for solving the crisis. In association with this, Mr. Ante Marković despatched a letter to the President of the Slovenian Executive Council, Mr Lojze Peterle. The Federal Executive Council has, on the basis of the Joint Brioni Declaration, prepared a proposal on the operation of the state during the moratorium and it also proposed that this is discussed and accepted at one of the future sessions of the federal presidency. The Federal Executive Council suggests that the Slovenian Executive Council meets this week in Belgrade or Ljubljana.
