Transporters to Block off Austria?

Ljubljana, 3 January - Transporters, mostly members of the economic interest association Transport, alerted to insufficient number of transit permits for Austria for the first 4 months of 2004, until Slovenia joins the EU. If the Slovenian government does not make an agreement with Austria and the EU on the free transit of recent model cargo vehicles across Austria as it applies to EU members, the transporters will close the borders with Austria on 12 January.
