Ljubljana, 3 January - In 2004, the Slovenian economy will face many opportunities and downsides of EU membership. The country will get ready to join the European Exchange Rate Mechanism ERM II and face many challenges in encouraging competition, cutting inflation and carrying out certain reforms. Elections will affect many a project in the economy.
