Lawmakers Spent 291 Hours in Session in 2003

Ljubljana, 4 January - Slovenian MPs convened for 23 sessions last year, among them 11 regular sessions and 12 extraordinary. They spend a total of 59 days in session, debating and voting on 291 items, and addressing 719 questions to the government, prime minister and individual ministries. The total time they spent in session was 291 hours, according to the parliament's research department.
