Ski-Jumping: Zonta Leaps to First Career Win

Innsbruck, 4 January - Peter Zonta of Slovenia has soared to his maiden career victory in World Cup ski jumping on Sunday in Innsbruck. Eighth after the first round, Zonta managed a brilliant second round jump of 128.5 metres to beat out the competition in the third meet of the New Year's Tournament. Second place went to Veli-Matti Lindstroem of Finland, while his compatriot Janne Ahonen was third.
