Ski-Jumping: Zonta Leaps to First Career Win
Innsbruck, 4 January - Peter Zonta of Slovenia has soared to his maiden career victory in World Cup ski jumping on the large hill in Innsbruck on Sunday. Eighth after the first round, Zonta managed a brilliant second round jump of 128.5 metres to beat out the competition in the third meet of the New Year's Tournament. Second place went to Veli-Matti Lindstroem of Finland, while his compatriot Janne Ahonen was third.
