Standpoints of the Chief of Yugoslav Army Headquarters

Ljubljana, 7 August - There was a press conferenceheld today in Ljubljana by three Slovenian ministers: the Minister of Internal Affairs, Igor Bavčar, the Minister of Defence, Janez Janša, and the Minister of Information, Jelko Kacin. The journalists present were also informed about the standpoints of the Chief of Yugoslav Army Headquarters, Colonel-General Blagoje Adžić, which he stated at a secret meeting with high officers on August 5, this year. As we are of the opinion that this is an extremely important standpoint which can have long-term consequences for the security of Yugoslavia and Slovenia, we send it to you in whole and outside of our regular daily service.
