SNS Would Like to See Protection Bill for Slovenian Companies Adopted

Ljubljana, 7 January - The right-wing National Party (SNS) would like to see a special bill offering protection for Slovenian companies unable to compete on the EU market adopted before the country joins the bloc in May. Claiming that EU membership could result in the loss of 40,000 Slovenian jobs, the party wants temporary state aid to be given to troubled companies.
