Explosions on the military airport in Cerklje

Ljubljana, 9 August - Explosions echoed all day long today on the military airport in Cerklje. Yugoslav Army representatives said these were detonations of the mines planted on the airport during the war, which, due to their complex mechanisms can not be dismantled safely. This is why the army has decided to activate them. The constant explosions have caused much alarm among the people living close to the airport.
