Slovenia Vows to Meet U.S. Passports Demands

Ljubljana, 8 January - An official of the Interior Ministry has vowed that Slovenia will do everything in its power to start issuing passports fitted with biometric data, a demand the United States has made to all 27 countries whose citizens can stay in the U.S. without a visa for up to 90 days. According to Bojan Trnovsek, a Undersecretary at the ministry, the introduction of biometric data will prove a difficult task.
