GZS Wants Further Talks on Austrian Transit Permits

Ljubljana, 8 January - Additional talks with Austria to get more permits for Slovenian lorry drivers for transit through that country are urgent, Vice-President of the Chamber of Commerce (GZS) Miro Sotlar told the press on Thursday. Austrian Ambassador to Slovenia Ferdinand Mayrhofer-Gruenbuehel, who also spoke at the press conference, said that Austria is ready to allocate additional permits for modern trucks that meet "euro 3" environmental standards.
