Slovenia will be visited by the president of the federal executive council

Ljubljana, 10 August - On Monday, August 12., Slovenia will be visited by the president of the federal executive council Ante Marković and his collegues. This will be his first visit to Slovenia after the agression of the Army. Talks with members of the delegation of the executive council of the Republic of Slovenia, led by president Lojze Peterle, will be mainly devoted to the agreement on the functioning of the federation and its institutions during the transitional period or the duration of the Brioni moratorium. It is expected that the Slovenian side will also bring up certain other pressing problems, connected with the withdrawal of the Yugoslav Army, and the continuing blockade of Slovenia by the Yugoslav National bank, which indicates that federal institutions do not hold to the Brioni agreement.
