Social Dialogue Discussed at Ljubljana Conference

Ljubljana, 9 January - The social dialogue is bearing fruit, said Labour Minister Vlado Dimovski at the opening of a two-day conference on strengthening the social dialogue in enlarged Europe in Ljubljana on Friday. Irish Labour Minister Frank Fahey added that Ireland has social partnership to thank for the economic progress. The importance of social partnership was also pointed out by the European Commissioner for Labour and Social Affairs Ana Diamantopoulou, who addressed the conference via video link.
