LJSE Starts the Year Surprisingly Upbeat

Ljubljana, 10 January - The first trading week of the year took many investors by surprise. Instead of the anticipated traditional January bear, prices shot up, taking the benchmark SBI 20 beyond the 4,000-point mark once again. The index added a hefty 101.61 points (2.58 percent) and closed at 4,033.25.
