Pokljuka Biathlon: Bogali of Russia Wins Women's Mass Start

Pokljuka, 11 January - Ana Bogali of Russia is the winner of the women's mass start event at the Pokljuka round of the Biathlon World Cup Competition. Bogali, who ran one penalty loop, won the first mass start event of the season in a time of 39:02.8. This was 16.7 second quicker than Liv Grete Pioree of Norway, who had three penalty loops. Germany's Uschi Disl was a further 36 seconds behind in third after having to do four penalty loops.
