Biathlon: Hanevold Takes Men's Mass Start

Pokljuka, 11 January - Halvard Hanevold of Norway has taken victory in the men's mass start at the Pokljuka round of the Biathlon World Cup competition on Sunday. Recording a perfect round of shooting, Hanevold beat out compatriot Ole Einar Bjoerndalen (+0.7, two penalty loops) in a tight finish. Germany's Michael Greis finished in third place, 2.3 seconds behind the winner (two penalty loops).
