First Generation Starting Voluntary Military Service Today

Ljubljana, 12 January - Almost 100 young men are to start a three-month voluntary training programme in four barracks around Slovenia on Monday. Voluntary training has been introduced only three months after mandatory military service had been abolished to make way to a professional army, which will be supplemented by voluntary reserves.
