Slovenians Hold Almost 2.3m Maestro Debit Cards

Ljubljana, 14 January - The number of debit cards carrying the logo Maestro amounted to 2.27m at the end of September 2003, up 42 percent over the year before. The value of transactions increased by 48 percent in the same period, the company MasterCard International reported Wednesday.
