New Act to Promote Balanced Regional Development for Effective EU Accession

Ljubljana, 14 January - Slovenia has a fair way to go before the economy of its less developed regions is ready to be integrated into the competitive EU. A new act on the encouragement of balanced regional development has been drafted by the competent government body as part of the government programme for effective EU accession.
