Rupel and Zuzul "Realistic" About Friday's Meeting

Ljubljana, 14 January - The meeting Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel is to hold with his Croatian counterpart Miomir Zuzul on Friday was in the focus as the parliamentary foreign policy committee debated relations with Croatia on Wednesday. In his appearance before the committee, Rupel said he was hopeful that relations with this neighbouring country would ease up and that the burden that was created in the run-up to the Croatian parliamentary elections would be lifted. The minister added that there are problems between the two countries and there should be no reason to deny this.
