In USA there is much concern for the future existence of all business connections with Slovenia

Ljubljana, 14 August - Sources close to America's leading business circles, have informed us that there is much concern in the U.S.A. for the future existence of all business connections with Slovenia. Especially banks and other financial institutions fear that the events in Yugoslavia could seriously threaten future cooperation with the Slovene Chamber of Economy, the Slovene National Bank and the Bank of Ljubljana (Ljubljanska banka). Because of this, they have proposed that a high ranking delegation of economic and financial leaders from Slovenia should visit New York, Washington and possibly also Chicago.
