A SURVEY OF THE ARTICLES IN THE SLOVENE PRESS

Ljubljana, 14 August - THE DELO: NORMALIZATION - The formal recognition of Slovenia as an independent state is, in effect, the final step. Momentarily, Slovenia must above all establish normal economic and financial contacts with the world, as, tied into this, are also all other normal contacts with its surroundings in the domains of politics, culture and sports that have been cut off due to recent events. Once these ties have been renewed, formal recognition of Slovenia will come of its own accord, as a diplomatic move sanctioning the real and "normal" situation we all wish for, wrote Darijan Košir in the paper's editorial.
