Police Chief Appointment Echoes in the Press

Ljubljana, 16 January - Editorials in Friday editions of two Ljubljana-based papers focus on on the appointment of Darko Anzelj as the new director general of the Slovenian police. While Delo considers the appointment in light of the implementation of the civil servants act, Dnevnik speculates about why the most serious candidate for the job failed to get appointed.
