NSi Demands that Drnovsek Appears Before the Petek Commission

Ljubljana, 16 January - An opposition member of the parliamentary commission probing into the attack on journalist Miro Petek has called on the commisssion's chair to hear President Janez Drnovsek. According to Alojz Sok of New Slovenia (NSi), Drnovsek's hearing would help clear the controversy surrounding the alleged irregularities in issuing permits for truckers in the region of Korosko, which Petek had been writing about.
