Opposition Agrees, in Principle, with Human Rights Commissioner about the Erased

Ljubljana, 16 January - Two leading opposition parties share the view of the Council of Europe's (CoE) Human Rights Commissioner Alvaro Gil-Robles, who wrote to Slovenia's ombudsman stating that the problem of the erased should be solved once and for all and in a way that would avoid further racist and xenophobic sentiments. The Coalition Slovenia - made up by the Slovenian Democrats (SDS) and the New Slovenia (NSi) - claims that the Constitutional Court's proposal for solving this problem is what is promoting the intolerance Gil-Robles would like to avoid.
