Croatian government condemns the attack on the helicopter with the European Community observers

Ljubljana, 17 August - At an extraordinary session today, the Croatian government issued a public announcement in which it emphatically condemns the terrorist attack on the helicopter carrying the European Community observers over the village of Lađevac in the community of Nova Gradiška on August 16 this year. The government has already began an investigation, and, according to their information, only groups of terrorists were in the vicinity of the area where the shooting of the helicopter occurred during the time of the attack. The Croatian government is of the opinion, that the purpose of this attack was to hinder the work of the observers of the European Community on the territory of the Republic of Croatia.
