NATO Accession Will Not Complete the Work, Grizold Says
Ljubljana, 19 January - The Defence Ministry will this year continue to build a professional army, supplemented with a professional reserve and voluntary military service, Defence Minister Anton Grizold on Monday explained his ministry's plans for this year. Efforts to implement international standards in security, defence and military areas will continue even after EU and NATO accession, he told the press.
