Minority Party in Austria Makes Demands Ahead of Provincial Elections

Klagenfurt, 19 January - A political party of the Slovenian minority living in the Austrian province of Carinthia has made a series of demands ahead of elections in this province that will take place on 7 March. The List of Unity, the only Slovenian party in Carinthia, has asked, among other things, that the electoral threshold for the provincial assembly be lowered from ten percent to four percent.
