Press Looks at Development Plans Unveiled by the Army
Ljubljana, 20 January - The 2004 Slovenian army development plan, unveiled by the Defence Ministry on Monday, does not quite correspond to the plans promoted in the NATO accession campaign, the daily Dnevnik writes on Tuesday, raising the question of airspace protection. Delo, on the other hand, acknowledges that NATO will help equip the Slovenian army, but highlights that the alliance will also demand costs when membership obligations will have to be met.
