SDS and NSi Call on PM to Name Three European Commission Candidates

Ljubljana, 20 January - Opposition leaders Janez Jansa (SDS) and Andrej Bajuk (NSi) on Tuesday addressed a letter to Prime Minister Anton Rop urging him to put forward three candidates for European Commissioner, including at least one woman and one opposition candidate. The PM's office meanwhile confirmed for STA that Rop is expected to notify the cabinet of his choice this or next Thursday.
