Road Safety in Slovenia Hand in Hand with European Countries
Ljubljana, 20 January - The year 2003 was the safest year since 1963 for Slovenia, the number of deaths and injured persons in road accidents being on a steady decrease. According to early data on road accidents and their consequences, Slovenia is doing quite well in the implementation of the national road safety programme and of the EU action plan demanding that acceding countries halve the number of road accident fatalities by 2010.
