Gov't for Further Talks, as Vatican Accord Awaits Ratification

Ljubljana, 21 January - Minister of Education, Science and Sports Slavko Gaber said the government is willing to enter further talks with the Roman Catholic Church as well as with other religious groups in Slovenia. In this way, he responded to a Church official who told a TV panel last evening that the Slovenia-Vatican agreement, awaiting ratification in parliament, is not dealing with all issues between the State and the Church.
