2003 Advertising Expenditure Totals EUR 280m
Ljubljana, 21 January - A total of 1,767 hours of ads were aired on TV, and 1,938 sq. metres of ads were published in the press in 2003. The gross value of last year's advertising expenditure has been estimated at EUR 280m, which is 8 percent more than in 2002 (EUR 259m), said head of the Institute for Market and Media Research Mediana Janja Bozic Marolt on Wednesday, pointing out that the figure is not a consequence of higher prices of ads.
