Glass Maker Replaces GM, Employees Threaten to Go on Strike

Rogaška Slatina, 21 January - Employees of glassworks Steklarna Rogaska threatened to go on a strike after the supervisory board on Wednesday dismissed general manager Davor Senija, replacing him with Darko Borsic from the rival Luminos. A trade union representative said she would urge the employees to reconsider, as a strike would mean the end of glass production in Slovenia. Work stoppage, however, is not ruled out.
