Supreme Court Rules in Favour of Purged Undersecretaries

Ljubljana, 22 January - The staff purges that took place first under an interim government formed by conservative parties for six months in 2000 and then by the new centre-left government of the current government coalition were in the spotlight as the Supreme Court ruled in favour of 13 state undersecretaries who were appointed by the interim cabinet only to find themselves demoted, unfairly as they believed, once the current government coalition assumed office.
