Author and Politician Seligo Passes Away

Ljubljana, 22 January - Rudi Seligo (68), a writer, playwright, editor and politician, has passed away, the publisher Nova revija said on Thursday. Seligo is known not only for his exceptional works of literature but also as one of the key figures in Slovenia's push for democracy in the 1980s and later as a minister of culture. His work earned him several awards, including the Preseren Award for his life oeuvre in 1989.
