Slovenia Two Years Behind Europe in Internet Application

Portorož, 22 January - Slovenia is two years behind European countries in the use of the Internet. Nevertheless, Slovenian companies are quite well equipped with hardware and Internet access, as employees in 90 percent of all companies have Internet access. More than 40 percent of all employees in Slovenia use a computer and more than 33 percent surf the world wide web, Vasja Vehovar of the Ljubljana Faculty of Social Sciences explained on Thursday as a third conference on commercial use of the Internet began at the seaside resort of Pororoz.
