Handball: Slovenia Overwhelm Iceland in Opener

Ljubljana, 22 January - The Slovenian national handball team overwhelmed Iceland 34:28 (13:13) in their opening game of the 6th European Men's Handball Championships played in Celje on Thursday. The home team used the home crowd advantage to take the initiative in the latter parts of the second half to secure a win against favoured opponents.
