IMF Recommends Policy Coordination and Further Cutting of Inflation

Ljubljana, 23 January - The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has told Slovenia that its main goal in the future should be to harmonise its monetary, wage and fiscal policies. Moreover, Slovenia will also have to do even more to further bring down inflation and ensure a stable exchange rate, the head of the IMF delegation that paid a two-week visit to Slovenia, Biswajit Banerjee, told the press on Friday.
