LJUBLJANA/VELENJE - The preliminary phase competition is to continue at the 6th European Men's Handball Championships:

          - Group A (Velenje)
4.00 PM   Switzerland vs Sweden
6.00 PM   Ukraine vs Russia

          - Group B (Ljubljana)
6.00 PM   Portugal vs Spain
8.00 PM   Croatia vs Denmark       (STA)

MARIBOR - A women's World Cup giant slalom event is to be held as part of the 40th running of the Golden Fox competition on the slopes of Pohorje. The first run is to begin at 10.00 AM and the second at 1.15 PM. Sunday will see the slalom event take place, with the Golden Fox trophy going to the best skier of the two events combined. (STA)
