Geographer Vladimir Klemencic Receives Carinthian Minority Award

Klagenfurt, 23 January - Geographer Vladimir Klemencic was conferred the Tischler Award, given to Slovenian people or institutions credited with promotng the cause of the Slovenian minority in Austria's Carinthia, in Klagenfurt on Friday. Klemencic has dealt with minoriity issues in numerous treatises and lectures, and has often guided the graduates of Klagenfurt's high school on their trips to the former Yugoslavia and, later, Slovenia.
