Slovenia and Czech Republic to Establish Duty-Free Zone on 1 January 1994

Prague, 4 May - CZECH REPUBLIC/MEMORANDUM/DUTY-FREE/ZONE/DRNOVŠEK
Following talks in Prague today, Janez Drnovšek, the Slovenian Prime Minister, and Vaclav Klaus, the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic, signed a Memorandum on Liberalisation of Mutual Trade Relations, introducing a duty-free zone between the two countries. At a press conference they described their meeting as a very positive step towards closer cooperation.
