Golden Fox: Dorfmeister Leads after G-Slalom First Run

Maribor, 24 January - Michaela Dorfmeister of Austria is in the lead coming into the second and final run of the women's World Cup giant slalom event at Pohorje near Maribor. Dorfmeister, who started as number eight, finished her first run in a time of 1:07.90. This was 0.17s faster than her nearest rival, Sweden's Anja Paerson. Nicole Hosp of Austria was a further 0.2s behind in third. The second run will begin at 1.15 PM local time.
