Thirty Seven Slovene Conscripts Still in the Yugoslav Army

Ljubljana, 21 August - According to the most recent data published by the Department for Conscription and Posting of the Slovene Ministry of Defence, 37 Slovene conscripts still have not been discharged from the Yugoslav Army. Of these, 8 have signed the statement certifying that they wish to complete their 1-year's military training in the Yugoslav Army, two wish to complete their training as reservist officers, one is in detention, one has been given extended service to complete, three are the sons of active commanding officers, while the families of three of the conscripts have moved out of Slovenia. The Department is still gathering information on the Slovene conscripts not accounted for here.
