Handball: Results of Round Two

Ljubljana/Velenje, 24 January - Teams from groups A and B are playing their second round matches of the preliminary stage at the 6th European Men's Handball Championships. Defending European champions Sweden have notched up their second win, cruising past Switzerland 35:24 to go to the top of group A standings. Russia also bagged its second win in group A, overcoming Ukraine 29:27. Meanwhile, in group B, Spain put their last-second loss to Croatia behind them, outplaying Portugal 33:27. Croatia will be playing against Denmark later this evening.
