Golden Fox: Paerson Makes it a Pohorje Double

Maribor, 25 January - Anja Pearson of Sweden has proven that she is currently unbeatable in women's alpine skiing, grabbing back-to-back wins in the World Cup at Pohorje near Maribor. Paerson won the slalom event on Sunday, a day after outskiing the competition in the giant slalom. She finished the slalom in a combined time of 1:38.08, well ahead of second-placed Marlies Schild of Austria (+1.24). Nicole Hosp of Austria was third (+1.35).
