Ljubljana, 22 August - The Association of Slovene Independent Trade Unions, has at today's press conference at which the president of ASITU was also present, introduced their stand in relation to the Ownership laws; namely, the Law on Ownership of Public Enterprises, the Law on Denationalization and the Trade Union Law. It was emphasized, that all of these three laws must return to the drafting phase and in the event that the decision will not be arrived at on the general referendum, the Assembly should vote on them according to two thirds majority. Not a single worker should be left without employment, while at least 30% of public property must be distributed among the present employes and pensioner. The Trade Unions insist that all returned property must remain in the function of production, while it is their opinion that the property of economic subjects must be returned in the form of shares and not in kind.
