Insurer Slovenica to Be Split into Two

Ljubljana, 26 January - Insurance company Slovenica will split into two entities as part of extensive preparations for fierce competition following Slovenia's EU entry. The procedure was launched on 1 January when the opening balance was drafted, and is to be completed by the end of September, when two independent entities - in charge of life and property insurance, respectively - will emerge, new Slovenica chairman Matija Senk said Monday.
