Referendum on Erased Goes Ahead

Ljubljana, 26 January - The Constitutional Court has unanimously rejected a petition of 33 coalition lawmakers to check the constitutionality of a parliamentary decree to call a referendum vote on a law recovering the status of erased citizens. The court established that a group of lawmakers cannot ask the constitutional court to check the constitutionality of a parliamentary decree. A referendum on the technicalities act on the erased will therefore take place.
